How can computer programming be applied to medicine?

Hey 👋🏻 I am a second year student, Studying Medicine 😅 Programming was my hobby and i used to practice it everyday.. But now we have a heavy study so i can't find time to stil programming, so i started to forget some skills.. Hope you can help me what can i do to practice it with something related to medicine at the same time.. Thanks in advance ❤

You can use programming to create medicine related websites, as you are experimenting with web design, for example, or even for creating different applications. You also may use other languages for data analysis, or even research, something I consider quite important on this field. Nowadays, in this modern world of technology, programming is never left aside! We find it everywhere around us, so it's always useful.

It's not used in medicine if you are using an old fashioned mercury thermometer or blood pressure meter.

What about a diagnostics program/website? One that lists the possible disorders/diseases based on symptoms? As a future/advanced step you could include blood test results and other tests.
