In the initial days of my programing carrier i also think that there is no need of math in programming .
I used to think that i 'm finally get rid of from math.
But i was wrong and i finally realize that math is everything in this world,
and of course in programming .After all , things stared to get fit .
I fell comfortable with math. Now i have no problem regard to maths.
Believe me if you really love programing than math will automatically fit inside your head .

I'm just gonna stop by because I don't necessarily agree that math isn't important in web design. When it comes to designing websites, being able to setup layouts which stay consistent throughout devices is very important, and being able to manipulate the width and height of different elements to do so certainly requires some math to get right. Now, while you may not be working with calculus, being able to determine the size elements need to be relative to each other may require some basic arithmetic (and maybe even geometry, depending on what you're using), so it is an important aspect in some ways

guys like Chetali Shah, Rajeshwari Dadaji Ahire, Xpan and Aamir Rehan,
I disagree with you
Even though web is all about designing pages, I feel that math is an irresistable tool in programming

Monical, I think what you told is true

Chetali Shah, I didn't know we are talking about higher maths. So, In higher maths, what you said is correct

Maths is not important for web development.
For web development and web designing, you should atleast know HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
It is good to learn PHP, JQuery, Bootstrap.

thank you for your help my friend👏🙏

Math is important, but not because of the mathematics. Instead, it is important because it teaches you to think structured, so math is not the aim, it's the means. It teaches you analytical skills that you need to solve programming.

Monical I'm not saying that programmers have maths skills with out learning them.
Every beginner has fear of math and think it's really difficult and complex
but when it's come to the programming math is really kind of like more fun. People better know something by doing it and in programming people get chance to learn by doing. Creating some high level projects and codes can improve programming as well as math skills. so programmers can understand math better with fun , solving problem and making new programme can teach and motive programmers to learn more and more about math .So this regard math will fit inside brains of programmers.
I think my explanation is not too good but i hope you get it :-) .

No, not necessary. U can just use any value for sizes and correct them to ur satisfaction

Yes but not mostly.. coz we have math.h library to solve nd involve math related codes 😅

Mägår 5ãm Akå Trøjän so coders automatically fit math in their brains?

In all fairness, you don't need much math if you use bootstrap which seems to be the norm of the day. But the best web designers use math extensively. Otherwise the calc css function would be pointless.

sujay simha Basic maths is required everywhere, even in day to day life.
Talking about its importance in web design, I agree, basic maths will be required but for higher mathematics, libraries are present and one can use it. So my answer was in context of higher mathematics.
What I observed is usually people are afraid of maths and solving big questions and queries. Because of presence of libraries, one doesn't need to solve them, you can use the inbuilt methods. So knowing basic maths is sufficient.

thank's that's so good😉so what's important?

I think math is less important in design, but in other parts of programming it is a must :)

It depends on how professional and accurate you want your pages to be

Is there a reason to hate math, besides you missed lessons in primary school? Because, come on, programming is technically math overall

Well first of all, my encouragement to you starting to learn web development. There are lot of technologies implied in a web. You have server side, where PHP is commonly under the hood. Sometimes Node JS. In the client side you have the HTML for page structure, css for design and JavaScript for interactivity and advanced features in your site.
So math visually isn't needed in web development, but it's. You need logic to adapt real world problems to algorithms and you need geometry and standard compositions to create the visual design. Maths are behind all of those beautiful patterns you see in professional websites

Nope, Maths is not important for web designing. Also you can see the result at https://www.dummies.com/careers/find-a-job/the-importance-of-mathematics-in-web-design/
