As i know, there are no apps available that teaches Delphi. But you can try to google for Delphi tutorials as pdf and also for Lazarus, which is a free Delphi clone. But also from Delphi should be a community edition for free. You can also find some videos on youtube, for Delphi as well as for Lazarus.

Nico Ruder, you are right, Delphi and Pascal are coming from the mid 90s, but they are still alive. One update nearly every year, and still a real good product. And yes: There's life in the old dog yet. (totgesagte leben länger)🤣

Use 'embarcadero delphi tutorial pdf' with google and you will find a lot of stuff about starting and working with Delphi.

I think your school needs to move on to newer languages.

Lothar I know I learn Delphi for myself in school now and is not bad but it is out of fashion. (Irgendwann wird Delphi wieder aufleben)

I love delphi programming. We r only taught this at school. My teacher said its the syntax of java and delphi which r different

For me delphi is easier to understand than java but java isn't that bad. All u need is time to keep practising and get better.

By the way I forgot to mention that Delphi is kind the same as Pascal...

Try to get to a library within a bigger city or try to get a membership at an University. The will have what you're looking for and maybe can help you out with getting started by joining a local club at the University grounds.

Delphi is still alive and powerful with its last version "Delphi 10.4 Sydney". In school, we also started with Delphi 7, and then I worked with Delphi XE2 and then XE3 for almost 3 years. I may say its syntax is easier to understand and handle than of Java or modern C++ or C#. But the job market nowadays is quite scarce regarding Delphi. There are a lot of positions for C# .NET and Java, then a little less for C++. Web technologies are quite an in demand. You may learn Delphi directly from its integrated documentation in RAD Studio, but for examples of how to do something specific, you need to search on Google. There are answers, but some may not work because it also depends on the Delphi version you use and the components library (DevExpress, Devart, TMS).

I think you cant find an app for this programming language because it is too old

My advice is to go to your local library and look for books about Delphi if you don't find anything on line. Ask the librarian if there isn't a CD ROM available that came with the book. It should help you a lot of you need to learn something that's not been so popular these days anymore. Good luck with your search and endeavors.

Thanks so much. I've asked already for books but they didn't have any so I'll ask for the CD next time.

Yeah. They previously did java but then learners were struggling to grasp the concepts so they changed to delphi
