How do I create an app?

I’m curious to find out how do I create an app? Like I have interesting app ideas and would like to act on them.
I downloaded this app with the hope of understanding how to code so that I can create my app

You are at the right place. Sololearn is a great platform for learning code.
For creating Android apps you have to first learn Java or C# or Kotlin. Java and Kotlin are the recommended one.
If want to create iOS app than choose either swift or C.
If you want to create Android as well as iOS apps with the same source code than go for JavaScript(ReactNative).

First learn any OOPs language like Java and C++. Then go for app development.
