Well as you know OOP stands for Object Orientated Programming, and powerful programming languages such as java and c++ are centered around that idea is no mere coincidence, because object orientated programming allows the coder to think and structure the section of codes as objects in the program; making the program more powerful, reliable, scale-able and easier to read.
