What is best for android development?

Well I came across xml and had been learning it since then. I just wanted to know is xml good for android development or not? If not then which language is good for to start with android development?

Prerequisites :
- Advanced knowledge in Java programming language
- Basic knowledge in XML
- Basic knowledge in Android studio

I think that's all , then download android studio(recommended) or eclipse ( alternative ) and start writing your app

xml will be replaced by flutter and its clones.
Kotlin is on the way with composables
