How do I recover code?

I had some saved code that I wanted to work on, but I don’t know how to access it. I tried a couple things but I just got confused. I know this is probably a stupid question, but please, someone, answer. I don’t want to lose that code

Did you save it? If not, then you cant recover it.

If you save it, it appears in code bits..
