Python 3.8.1 on window vs sololearn

Question

When I code on here, I see numbers on the left side and it works like a txt doc. The program I downloaded (link at bottom) looks and works like command prompt. When i paste my code on the windows version it puts it all on one line and gives me a syntax error. Am I missing something?

visual studio code did the trick, thanks
