Web development will disappear?

I am 16 years old and I discovered that my passion is web development. When I researched, I was afraid to think that web developer work will disappear in the future due to wix, wordpress, etc. What do you think about it?

This is a very interesting question indeed, which deserves to be raised. It is clear that seeing all these new tools, one can say that there may be a risk of a decline in the field. I think that people will always need the expertise of a web developer, who knows the roots, the details of programming languages and web development, in case of problem on his project or his site, he will be able to overcome the problem, unlike an average person who will not necessarily have his knowledge. Even if the tool simplifies the task, it will nevertheless remain simplified compared to the code itself. This will expose the designers of these simplified sites to many security but content risks.

Wix and WordPress are for mostly non programmers, and even with those tools if you decide to make a custom website it won't be easy u will need to manage stuffs with web development languages. Instead you can say that, web development is evolving with new features or you can say part of the technologies used may not be thoroughly used in future. Web development is evolving faster, like in terms of technologies, many new languages supports web framework, like django from python, React, Angular, Vue, as frontend designing frameworks from JavaScript background, and Nodejs Express for backend programming again from JS background. Ruby on Rails, flutter, and many more to go... So these are the new upgrades, and other new technologies which enhances web development are REST, SOAP GRAPH QL APIs which we got to use while looking for good mechanism to get data from sql or noSql databases (again a new Technology) These web technologies are further used in app development as well.. So it won't be right to say that Web development won't last longer. Web developer must be aware of these languages in the near future, so that they can make choices to upgrade their skill and move along with the trend of time. (2)

Worry less about the likes of wordpress and wix they are just for simple websites that may not give a client the value or the best of what they expect and to that it will require a good web developer to come up with the best website hence brushing of the essence of this tools.

Nah. Wix can´t change such a big deal like making your own custom website. It´s an easy solution for those who seek fast results, but most times you don´t need it. Also, as far as I know, you won´t be able to migrate from Wix.

Such tools are intended for those who do not want to program their site, or want to make the job faster. There are and will likely always be people who want to make their site from scratch or customize those tools, either themselves or by hiring someone to do it for them.

We should expect to give up all this work to machines when we can no longer do it better than them. There is still plenty of time before that happens. Live in the moment with the future in mind. Thank you.

No, I think its not the truth, these technologies like WordPress Joomla or wix can not replace the actual value of programming in Web.
