SoloLearn has course in Swift, yet noone asks about it, no challenges, nothing.

Does anyone code in Swift? Why is it so unpopular?

I just do the course for the badge. I don't have a Mac, so I'm not really interested in swift.

I am doing the Swift course at the moment, and it is a nice language! But I suspect the closed-source proprietary nature of Apple's tools (even though XCode Studio is free you need an iOS machine to use it) means that I will not be able to use it afterwards. SoloLearn is also not hosting the Swift compiler on the Code Playground, I suspect for the same reasons. So you cannot even try it out on some toy projects!

Kotlin and Ruby are relatively new, too. yet there are a lot of people who want challenges, further courses etc... I think the reason is that you're “limited“ to Apple only...
