I like Visual Studio Code. It's an ultimate text editor. It has an inbuilt debugger and it supports a lot of language. You can also install extensions to make your work easier.

Really powerfull IDE is IntelliJ Idea, but it's not free and in my opinion Eclipse is perfect and free alternative.
