hi! I'm new to coding and need some help (javascript)

I was trying to test some of the things I'm learning in the lessons but it wont show any of the outputs. can someone look at the two different codes I wrote and explain what to do? it would be highly appreciated. thanks!

It's because you are using Java instead of JavaScript. select a web project and put that in the javascript tab and it should work.
