Yes. Raspberry pi uses a flavour of Linux as its OS (called Raspbian). You can use g++ on Raspbian.

Incidentally, you can also use QtCreator as IDE on Raspbian, but it will probably be easier and faster to develop on a PC and use a cross compiler to target the ARM processor.

I haven't installed raspbian os on my pi ..connected a monitor the red led on the pi is on but they ain't anything on the display
