If a person doesn’t have fingers can they still learn to code?

My friend has no fingers. Just a thumb on one hand. He was clumsy and had to get some procedure. It’s okay, he was a runner so he barely used his fingers, but now he wants to learn to code???

I was like, “ehhh I don’t know....”

Programming is based on logic. Far as his brain his working he can learn to code. There are softwares to input text without the use of hands and again you said he still has a thumb.
