Hey guyz, please tell me one thing that 4gb RAM is compulsary for android studio

I have an 8gb RAM in my laptop and when I run virtual device in android studio, it shows more than 7.5gb in use. So even if you run your apps on a mobile atleast 4gb RAM is required for android studio.
I would also recommend using SSD as in HDD it will take a lot of time in loading, running apps and other processes.
