What's the best reference for learning to work with SMSS do you think?

IIRC, it came with a help system?
Idk if anyone but Microsoft would spend time on building tutorial for that software in particular. It's a tool after all.

I would suggest maybe consult the built-in help system first, then go search the net for missing answers in the help database.
