How can we easily identifed the shapes by the given path

Did you means svg Path element?
If so, there's no easy way to identify the shape (path could be very complex composition of straight lines, bicubic and quadratric curves...

Even with only straight line (polygons, if closed path to be able to consider a shape), shape recognition is not simple at all...

At worst, you could identify SOME PARTICULAR SHAPES (such as triangle and type of triangle, parrallelogram, square...), but even the task of parsing the Path string would be not obvious, and characterization of such "simple" (from an human point of view) shapes, will implie lot of geometric computation not obvious too ^^
