Where to find free advanced android programming lessons?

Question

You can find everywhere basics of every language. I'm personally interested in android programming and I already know basics. When I have idea for an app I just can't make it work. Searching on google, here and stack overflow someone will maybe give an explanation of one little fragment of app that I don't know how to make. I'm just wondering is there any better way of learning advanced stuff other than just looking at the code and trying to figurate it out.

by the way you should be more spcific with your question: basic for you may be elementary for some one else and vice versa.
Whenever a problem arises that is the start point of your research to solve or get around it. I can't see a better learning experience than that (NB I don't say it's easy).
BTW I got my ass kicked very hard by Android Studio
