As a noob i don't really get it, but I think that they set up variables for each tick
Ex.
a = big hand
b = small hand
Then they set up increments of those hands that put them up by one.
If they set the increments of the big hand to go up by .05, and the small hands to go up by 1, They can make them move at different speeds.
