How can i further understand a "while" statement?

Everything has been okay from the start.But this time, i am having difficultes in understanding a "while" statement. am a bit confused of how it critically works.can someone help me please? please include some further examples (not the one intergrated in this app) and i will appreciate guys.Thank you in advance.

This is a conditional loop which goes round and round until its condition is no longer True.
