I need help in making a code in c++( either a function) to enable a user in the compiler to be able to save and edit entries

I am writing a code such that when i run it gives me sought of an interface in c++ where i can write entries e.g. names and details and the programme saves the details and when run again still contains the details which can be added,edited or updated. Hence i need an idea on the whole saving and editing part to be able to create such a program
