Essentially it depends on what device you're using....
If you are using an Android device them the IDEs available on a system won't be available to you... So I'll list for both types of hardware;
System:
*Brackets
*Pycharm
*Atom
Android:
*ES note editor.
*I-code go.

But primarily it depends on your preference as a developer. An editor is one of the most important tools used in development and like all other tool you have to be comfortable while using it. I advise you to go through the top editors and try to chose one which suits you. Happy coding.

I'm very new so my opinion is FAR from expert... That said, I have 3 programs on my laptop, 2 of which I like a lot. The 1st text editor I ever downloaded when I began learning was atom & I was very fond of it immediately... The 2nd I installed was sublime text, it's nice as well but wasn't enough to pull my interest from atom... Most recently I downloaded and started playing with visual studio & the difference between a text editor & full IDE became quite obvious. As a beginner visual studio is a lot more than I need right at this moment but I like the fact that as I grow in ability it will have what I need so I don't have to find something to fit my needs later in the future since it's fully featured. I also like that even though it's a full IDE, it's not intimidating... Even with my limited knowledge I felt completely comfortable using it. As an added bonus, it is very well integrated with github, so if you're using github repos you'll enjoy the seamless integration...
