Why did you choose programming?

I chose programming, because it gave me the ability to create a program which does exactly what I want to. I look towards the future, and I see the huge amount of benefits that comes from programming. There's robotics and software which will evolve the human race throughout it's course. It gives me the ability to make contributions to the world, whether small or large, and gains my interest at the same time. The complexity and thrill from finally learning how to do a certain thing excites me. I love programming with a passion and plan to have the rest of my work life and hobby time focus on it.
