Is it important to be an IITian for a good future in coding?

I am in Class 10 th and I am confused what to do now , should I start preparing for JEE Exam for having a brighter future in coding or without being an IITian I can be much successful. And if I start preparing for JEE Exam should I leave coding until I crack JEE Exam because many people told me "don't do coding, first crack JEE Exam because it is very tough and difficult" . What should I do now, if any suggestions please explain me.

Short answer : NO IIT don't make you great programmer it gives you more opportunities Note for those who don't know About IIT : It's a indian prestigious Exam for getting into the best colleges It's not offtopic question because Job opportunity questions can be asked Now his answer College don't matters many big company CEO are dropouts so skills matters Since I know Jee can't be cracked without devoution and if you cracked it would be a great achievement and you may get great job opportunities but but ... Time management is best thing Manage your time give more to jee less to coding . How can you leave coding Jee is important but leaving programming don't make sense just don't burn yourself by studying 21 hours and programming's backbone is maths and logic and jee most important tool is maths Hope you get this

Frankly speaking, you don't even need a college to become a good programmer.
