Interestingly there are quite a lot of languages with a C in their name. Yet neither C++, C# nor Objective C managed to replace C for many reasons. E. g. the Linux kernel is still 100% C code and any other suggested language (such as C++) has been rejected. Ironically, a non C-named languages called Rust might finally be the modern successor of C many developers have been looking for.

If ther will be another you need a symbol with 6 times a plus. In the beginning there was c Than c++. Than there was c++++. The 4 pluses are rearanged ti create the # symbol
