I am not understanding anything in java

I started java but the mains, string and many more things were hard to understand as a beginner.
I am thinking to go ahead with the course.
Will they explain it later?

Look at other sources. Or
And use examples there by *try it yourself*.. It will explain practically..
For any other difficulties in basics (other than strings & pointers) learn them from C.. (A book let us C. )..
It help you learn easy way...
