Well firstly WordPress is a content management system, and it's written in PHP. I hear there are many financial opportunities, or benefits when you learn it and become a freelance developer with the aim of making quick cash. It's a case of preference, but research more and maybe give it a try.

Why not? If you need to put up website quickly it is the good way. As previously explained you would need to learn how to setup CMS and php, html, css. As far as I know it is the most popular but am not up to date, maybe you would like to check drupal as well.just preposition

It is a popular tool. You need both enough knowledge, then build a portfolio to prove you can actually do it, to constantly learning new things and convince people to buy your service from what I've heard.

If you make it profitable... maybe.
