How to be a freelancer?

If you know some Python, how can you be a freelancer, in backend area? Making websites? Using framework or is to hard to be a freelancer by using an ERP (like Odoo)? If you know some JavaScript or some Android development... how can you be a freelancer, or what are the possibilities? You need to be a professional in one area or is good to be mediocre in all 3 and don't be able to be a freelancer? I don't know, but to be a freelancer (a programmer one) is like a good fresh air breathe... What is the probability to be a freelancer if you are a mediocre programmer? But what are the chances to be a freelancer working with Python or/and JavaScript? If you know some Java and more less Kotlin, you should insist on them or is a good decision to try ReactNative or Flutter? I know, there is not a perfect solution for anyone, but a general path as a programmer. PHP, nowadays, is worthy? Thank you! 😎

I recommend working for free for a while, building up a reputation on GitHub. Then, by the time you have enough knowledge to do it for a job, you’ll also have some reputation and resime in the process. past that i have the same question as you. but by then, you might actually decide you like something else better with programming on the side as an extra tool in your toolbox. :-)
