The question "what languages" is the wrong one to ask, without context. Every language has a typical field of usage. You can call yourself an expert if you only know 1 language very well, doesn't matter if it's javascript, python, C, fortran or whatever. Sometimes you need to combine languages as required by the specific project.
The more important part of being a programmer is the ability to learn new things. Because technologies and languages evolve, change, get outdated. And by learning I don't mean mindless repetition and copy/paste. You need to be able to explore, research, creatively apply your knowledge. That way once you become proficient in at least one language, learning another will be almost trivially easy.
