I am a bit confused if still there is the scope of ASP.net in 2020 as word press and other platforms are too competitive?

I have a good grip in c# and c family and also finding a way to make my own websites but I want to assure if it is good for the future or it is useless🤔🤔

Word press and it's similar platforms are designed for small businesses which don't have much financial capabilities. They want something to be easy and fast to make and also cheap. So ASP.NET has it own market which can hardly be displaced.

I guess it would depend on whether the ASP.Net solution has any added value which is not on offer by CMS project standards such as WP or others.
