Im not a math genius. And i now what % is. But can you explain me what is the meaning of 17%3 = 2

% is modulo operator, and what it means is to return remainder after division. So the answer for modulo is the remainder.

3 divides 17 , 5 times with a remainder of 2
17 % 3 = 5 remainder 2

and since the remainder is the answer, hence 17% 3 = 2

17 : 3 ≈ 5
5 * 3 = 15
2 = 17-15

X%Y=Z means the remainder when x is divided by y is z.
So 17%3=15/3 remainder =17-15=2
