@Shobhana: Python and Java are built for completely different purposes. It's upto you what you aspire to do. In general, these are the differences Python and Java are two very different programming languages, but both can be useful tools for modern developers. If you are thinking about learning to program for the first time, then you might find Python easier to master. Python’s syntax is designed to be intuitive and its relative simplicity allows newbies to quickly start writing code for a variety of applications. While Java has a steeper learning curve, it is extremely useful for developing applications that will run on any platform.
Uses of Python: Python excels at integration tasks. Many applications use Python as an embedded scripting language; while it's not as light as Lua, it's much more versatile and has all sorts of ready-made tools so it makes a great tool for gluing things together. For example, 3D sofrware like Maya includes Python which can be used for automating small user tasks, or for doing more complex integration like talking to databases and asset management systems.
Python is also very popular in web development, though primarily on the 'back end' side. The combination of easy extensibility, good iteration time, and good integration with database and other web standards makes it a popular choice. Quora, for example, has a lot of Python code.
The two places where Python hasn't made big inroads are high-performance applications -- Python is definitely slower than C or C++ for compute-heavy tasks -- and desktop applications. Python expects a 'live' python environment - it's possible, but not simple, to pack up a python application into a single executable file. This makes it hard to distribute python to non-technical users.
Uses of Java:
1. Android Apps
2. Server Apps at Financial Services Industry
3. Java Web Apps
4. Software Tools
5. Scientific Applications
6. Big Data Technologies

python s much simpler I hope compared to java in usage....

Every technology has pros and cos so comparison is not the solution better you have to decide what technology you're want to learn.

The best thing about python is we can code best exploitation code to exploit the vulnerability found in Web site or applications.Usually used by hacker
yes for hackers it is advance comparing to java

nothing like that...but Python is more productive than Java on the basis of programmer

The code of java is comparatively long than Python. Both are object oriented but java is platform independent just code once and run anywhere but this is not available in other languages. So, If you are able to learn java, You will definitely find python more easier.
