What is the use of inline function???

generally we will use inline infront of a function why we are using give your answers i will share my view

function is a piece of code which is used repeatedly​ but function maintaince is tedious process i.e pushing and poping of function call to the stack this is the disadvantage when our price of code is every small like 1 or 2 lines .to mitigate this we will use key word inline infront of a function so we are insisting compiler treat this function like a macro instead of function if possible other wise treat this as a function that decision purely in compiler hands whether to call that piece code as fuc or macro
Macro is similar to function but slightly different
when where your function name appears in code it will replace that function name with your piece of code. disadvantage out put image size become more but maintaince is simple as compared to functions i hope i answered if any queries don't hesitate to comment
