Will PHP survive healthier for long?

Question

PHP is now a major powerful server scripting language.
Does all big IT corporate use this?
Will it be powerful and survive long for a decade? Is there any alternate for php rather than perl?
Comparing to job opportunities and good future will php be good? or perl?

Well, PHP power more then 80% of website in the world. That means it extremely popular server side language. I think, you use facebook, it is a big MVC also it runs over on PHP. Google not fully but it also run on PHP. perl, used many years ago now it is very low. Now there, there is many good server side language or framework like use nodejs, ruby on rails Django. So, why you choose perl. You will get job in PHP, very easily.
