-Turn computer off -plug in usb -turn on computer and spam your system's boot order key (I have to spam f1 when i cut the computer on) -choose the bootable usb -allocate some space in your hard drive for new os or completly wipe windows (usually happens w/ install) -enter rest of info and let it install -ps: you can change boot order in bios settings so it boots directly to mint instead of having to spam each time you turn it on, grub usually allows you to choose your boot at startup in case you have something else

Select the bootable usb you made at the selection screen. If that dont work then you may need to reflash the usb. Hope you're using etcher

If there's a password on that then the owner of the computer set that up. Usually there isn't anything unless set up. Where you able to get it running?

Okaaaay, then just figure it out. One of the buttons up top has to trigger that on startup. Keep restarting and spam one f key per restart. Keep doing it until it works

You still have not said your computer. Just search "Bios <your computer>" whatever it tells you, thats the button.

Haha, okay? So you're putting a new os on it? You'll still have the same problem with selecting the boot device. Plus, you still havent mentioned your hardware so good luck man
