Can anyone suggest me any encryption method other than ceaser cipher for java and explain its working?

please keep in mind that this procedures have only a limited safety level, but their are anyway stronger than ceasar cipher. so it depends about the purpose of your code.
if you handle sensitive data, it is better to use stronger encryption.
