How to add images to a website

HEY, I AM QUITE NEW TO CODING .
SO , I HAVE A QUICK QUESTION . IT IS -‘HOW DO I ADD AN IMAGE TO A WEB PAGE’.
LIKE DO I JUST INSERT THE NAME OF THE LINK.
I WOULD REALLY LOVE IT IF ANYoNE HELPS ME OUT .

Here is an example:
<img src="image.png" alt="an image" />

img ---> tag used for inserting image
src ---> source of file
alt ---> alternative text in case the message fails to load

And for more attributes... you will learn it on your course.
