Solo Learn community is like a university with the XP like the student GPA.

Question

You find the GPA( XP ) easy and cheap at the beginning only to find out that it's the most difficult thing to come by.

Your GPA(XP) increases drastically when you score grade A+ (win a challenge) at the beginning and reduces severely when you score grade F ( loose a challenge ) at the top.

Every student (Solo learner) is striving to attain a higher GPA( XP ).

The student( learner ) with the highest GPA(XP) is the most famous and respectable person in the university (community).

some people need motivation or kind of a push to learn and get better and I think it's the reason behind the XP. If you don't need it then no problem but just bear in mind that it's helping others

You should never be striving for xp if your real and primary intention is to learn and get better in a given language.
I personally do not see people who 24/7 do "HTML" challenges to get xp as being the most famous and respectable ones. I value people through their content and the quality of their answers in Q/A discussions.
