How else can one be a good data analyst apart from learning online? I mean where can I practice real life data analysis ? thanks

To be a data analyst, you need data. That's the hard part. Fortunately, there are options available. https://colab.research.google.com/ - They give you a Python interface (Jupyter) and provide many datasets to practice with. You can also setup your own database with data that you can find in various places online. It's not so easy to find data, but it is out there. https://data.gov has many datasets that are public information from the US government. Some data would require a subscription. Stock market data, for example. But NASDAQ lets you download stock historical data, but you can only download one symbol at a time and you are not allowed to automate the process. However, if you download ten or twenty stocks and ten years of history, you can do some analysis of that. Some of the advanced ways of using data analysis is to try to discover relationships between different types of data. For example, what happens to stocks after an election? Do movies genres predict the economy somehow?
