Atom just vanished off the face of my computer for no reason at all

Question

I don't know what happened. I was sat there programming when everything crashed. Frustrated, I opened it again and it said "the shortcut has been changed or moved". What happened??? Atom literally vanished off my computer.

I went to re-add the shortcut and the whole atom.exe file is missing. What the..........

I just did pip install spyder and got that. Still have no clue what happened
