sure, but it sounds far above the OP question context wich seems only ask for basic math to get coordinates of circle circumference (if not, the question would have been more specific about projection use case and OP probably not needs trigonometric basics^^)

Runtime Terror you're almost right, but where could you encounter "coordinate system" wich require to switch sin and cos???

all coordinates system always set x as horizontal and y as vertical... eventually, there's two y variant, wich only require to change the sign of sin, or imply growing angle to turn counter or not clockwise... with angle modulo 2"PI rad (360deg -- almost if not always) pointing to the strictly right of the origin (while +/- PI/2 -- +/- 90 deg -- pointing to the strictly top or bottom) ;P

switching sin and cos otherwise make rotate by +/- PI/2 the trigonometric circle convention ^^

Runtime Terror well, if you have to handle yourself the screen rotation, that could make sense... but in major cases don't you rely on system to handling it for you?

anyway, "technically" that's rather the 'portrait' mode wich make the screen rotated ;)
