In LinkedIn, I searched for both React and Angular jobs.

Here's the result for India as of 5 September, 2021.

React - 54,316 jobs
Angular- 27,323 jobs

So you are 2 times more likelier to get a front-end job if you learned React.

React is even easier to learn than Angular.
I worked 2.5 years with React now doing Angular for 6 months.

Regarding salary, it's always based on the Demand- supply rule.
If Angular developers in shortage then more salary for Angular devs and vice versa. Based on my personal experience of hiring, Angular developers are in shortage when compared to React devs therefore they will be paid more as per market rules.
