How much time takes in learning Ruby

Learning how to write a Hello World code is learning. Learning how to set up a backend for a functional website is also learning. The difference in time taken is huge though. So, assuming you meant something in between, say, mastering the basics of Ruby, I'd say 1 month to be competent. However, this varies from person to person.

Some people take a day to learn how to bake cookies, some take their entire life. Who am I to judge. 😐/🍪

simply reading and completing Ruby course in Sololearn is easy and quick.
gaining experience in programming with Ruby will take more time.

I spent 3 months learning Ruby 'til this point where I am now, From my opinion I think you can either be an advanced developer in 6-9 (No 69 Jokes Please) months. I'm not sure but I think I might be good at Ruby in 3-6 months more I'll reply back after 3-6 Months, See ya! *time travels*
