Need advice for Tkinter freezing problem (python)

Question

My tkinter GUI was freezing so I decided to use threading but the problem is matplotlib is thread incompatible so I can't use matplotlib in thread.
So should I use multiprocessing? Will it prevent freezing GUI and matplotlib problem?

you're application is probably uses synchronous functions which are single threated and will result in freezing and lagging ,
