Lua and the like

When are we going to see the mathematical languages like LUA and Ada added? Seems reasonable considering how frequently they are used at the University level and above for research as well as having applications in AI.

Lua is used constantly. It’s consistent that it’s one of the few languages to had a dedicated IDE on iOS. Both languages are designed specifically for doing mathematics without FPU involvement. LUA is used in writing manufacturing firmware and ADA is used for high order calculations in the defense industry as well as NASA.

Lua is used as a scripting language for mathematics, it’s even the primary language used by Texas Instruments and Cyber.

Also, why are people arguing against adding languages to a LEARNING APP?

All of that is just wrong. FPU’s have always existed. They were analog circuits on the early mainframes, which C was designed for. I have it directly from the guy that developed Ada that it was due to the issues within other programming languages with mathmatics that Ada was developed.
