i feel discouraged

i feel that i pass the lessons and learn the commands but when it comes down to execute commands and do the task I'm completely lost when the source page comes up.

Try starting out with a simple task in that case, and keep on following something like "build and fix" methodology ( where you build the application till you don't find a problem and then try to fix the problem and repeat the cycle ) For cases where you are unable to find the solution of a problem, you can always use online resources ( like documentation and/or online forums like this one ) to seek for help. Do this till the time you get familiar with the tools you use and programming in general and then you should be able to implement more complex applications with much efficient software models.

What i can recommend to so is: - after each lessons' block try using things that were taught even if its unnecessary to use them in this case - complete code challanges as they are good way to have more practice - search the internet for more information - eventually start writing your own projects; they dont need to be complex, just something easy to start and you can expand it later on. If you can use it later than its even better. If you follow these 4 rules you can complete any course and remember most of the things.
