Any opensource development oportunties?

Question

Is anyone aware of any collaboration opportunities in developing Python-based software, systems integration or applications? SoloLearn is fantastic to learn and practice but I would like to gain fluency which is only obtained through real life experience. Any pointers are appreciated! I'm coming from VBA, C++ and microcontrollers, trying to branch-off towards IT security, FinTech, ML or Data Science.
