Is it possible to make a programming carreer without a degree?

I'm wondering if an interesting yet rewarding programming carreer is possible without having any university degree, just learning from the internet and working. Which would be the strategy to follow?

anything is possible without a degree lol. having a programming career is easier with a degree. but still possible without. you just have to show employers that you know what you are doing, and that you are passionate about programming
