the input for your code is not working, the rest is ok. a different approach could be:

iterate trough the list and swap the elements between the positions as demonstrated:

lst = [int(i) for i in input().split(",")]
for pos in range(0, len(lst), 2):
lst[pos], lst[pos +1] = lst[pos +1], lst[pos]
print(lst)

# input: 1,2,3,4,5,6
# result: [2, 1, 4, 3, 6, 5]
