html is markup language for making the frontend structure of web pages.
css is cascading language for making the theme of web pages.
java is a general purpose programming language for making desktop app, android apos,web backend, enterprise apps...
javascript is scripting language for making the behavior of web pages ( like what happens when a button is clicked ) and its for the front end.
python is used for making desktop apps,as script language, for web backend....
c++ is nowadays mostly used for resource intensive apps like pc games...
php is used for web backend
